Brief Introduction of Journal of Frontiers of Computer Science & Technology

        The Journal of Frontiers of Computer Science & Technology (FCST) is a new refereed academic publication on computer science and  technology. It is sponsored by North China Institute of Computing Technology of the Ministry of Industry and Information of PRC. The journal started at the  beginning of 2007 and it is published bimonthly.

        The FCST aim to foster communication between scientists and researchers by publishing their high quality and innovative research  results in all respects of computer science and technology.

        The contents of FCST cover all the fields on computer science and technology including:

       The papers are selected from within and outside China. Each submitted paper will be thoroughly reviewed by 2 or 3 top computer scientists and researchers in the field, in order to ensure quality, relevance and originality of the paper contents.The acceptance rate of the papers is less than 8%.

        Among the accepted papers, more than 98% are supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Key National High Technology Projects of China, and some of them are supported by the joint international research projects.

        The Board of FCST consists of leading computer scientists in China and abroad, including 19 academicians of ChineseAcademy of Sciences, and ChineseAcademy of Engineering in computer field.

       The articles can be written in both Chinese and English. However, the abstracts, tables, figures, keywords and referencesmust be provided in English and conform to the standardformat.

       The main goal of FCST is to attract top research and, thus, readers world wide. The FCST is going to be used to decide whether a university or research institute can set up its PhD program by the number of its accepted papers.
